hi im from Colombia and when i founded this page i just smiled a lot because in the net its to hard to find webs about the bassoon, i think that this page its perfect and i want to ask you for a book or a help, manual , tips, etc, for a beginner bassoon student, if you can in spanish will be better. thanks and go on.

I am positively impressed with all of the content that has already appeared here. It will be a valuable resource for so many bassoonists all over the world. My warmest greetings to Moscow bassoonist Valeri Popov, who is my personal friend and colleague. When I first met Valeri at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, we spoke togther in german language only. Valeri told me that he had enjoyed my newsletters "To The World''s Bassoonists" (1969-1979). He also told me that he had translated every one of my newsletters into russian language! In my first newsletter I published an article writen by the former solo bassoonist of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Prof. Nekliudov - that was a welcome research piece for bassoonists in America. I followed Nekliedov''s plans for usign staples (as oboists do) with bassoon shaped and profiled cane to make really fine-playing bassoon reeds. Nekliudov''s system of cutting out a part of the side of the long joint of his Heckel bassoon was very interesting. This was done to allow this bassoonist to mute the bassoon with a special valve closing off part of the lower bore of the instrument. This player said that these extreme dynamics of super piannisimi and super fortissimi were required always by the conductors of the Moscow Philharmonic. Привет всем коллегам. Недавно был в Гагенау у Riegera на фирме, взял комплект машинок для тростей и мешок франц. камыша. Дорого! Но результат - трости все просто супер. Кто пробовал - все довольны. Руками так не сделаешь. Я в Киеве, могу выслать трости, заготовки, пластинки обрез. по фасону. Фасон №3 Бонаца (№2 по Ригеру). Кстати с 16 по 27 мая 2006г в Markneukirchen (Германия)конкурс Кларнет, Фагот. Кто родился после 1 янв 1976г.1 премия - 5000 евро, 2- 3500, 3- 2500. В жюри Тунеман, Попов и т.д. Ребята! Год назад у моего сына пропал фагот (Пюхнер Супериор № 12533), я писал об этом в форуме и гостевой книге. Не может быть чтобы он где-то не всплыл. Вдруг кто из Ваших коллег на нём играет. Знайте, что инструмент краденый. Не знаю как входить в форум. Вид так изменился, что я ничего не понимаю.

Андро, форму восстановить можно. Георгий Константинович Гамбарян, один из выдающихся учеников Васильева просидел 17 лет в лагерях и потом все равно стал заниматься на фаготе и работать.
